Christmas party for the families of Pacheco

The annual Christmas party for the families of Pacheco will be not be held this year, because of family issues. I'm sure the best wishes of the entire township are with the people involved as well as our concern for their privacy.

Easter party results

The Easter party seems to have gone well, but there where some missteps.

Definitely need four clipboards to handle signups.

We spent about an hour signing everybody up and then poof it was all over in 30 minutes so we need some more activities. Even count the bunnies like last year would have been nice.

One mother complained that since there was no staging area, the first kids out the door gathered all of the eggs.

CHP has six members in local office now. Reported low traffic causality rate for December. Most stops are for cell phones or seat belts.

Bette Wilgus reporting on Beautification Project that they have a new point person Susan Cohen for liaison. Susan sent Gary who said she'd be at future meetings. So far Pacheco LL-2 Zone 5 has spent a bit less than half a million since 2002, has 32K$ left over. So far has finished Pacheco median, installed benches and fence for park. Has a water meter, but no connection to Contra Costa Water District yet.
